Thai Airways has now released its destinations list for the Airbus A380.

Hong Kong, Singapore, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Paris first in line to see the Airbus A380 superjumbo. Yeah!

Between 28 October and 14 December 2012 this year, TG will use the A380 on daily runs to Hong Kong and Bangkok.

From 15 December, the A380 will move to daily flights on the Frankfurt route, with Hong Kong and Singapore reverting to smaller planes. Boo. Hiss.

As of 16 January 2013, Tokyo will be added to the daily list, with Paris-CDG daily flights starting from 16 February.

But - get this - no plans to use it to LHR.

I think part of the problem is that London Heathrow isn't really a prime destination for Thai Airways.

No - seriously - there is so much competition on that route, Thai have struggled as they operate inferior aircraft compared to Qantas, BA, and even the roundabout route with Emirates.

They just don't have the loads - but the demand is there to Germany, where Thai's product looks good compared to Lufthansa.
